Whirl winds don't normally happen in 8 days; but with so many people to visit, and making the most out of the time I have there, it does feel like a rush. I do, at times, feel like a tornado passing through and upsetting the order of lives there. I have always loved going to London to visit my family. Almost all of my dad's side is there. So I try to get there once a year to visit everyone. And this year with a two week spring break - it seemed the perfect time to go and visit. Between visiting family in far North, East, South, and West London, and friends in the Center, I did quite a bit. I managed to do some drawing, lots of walking, visit a couple of art galleries, go to a few pubs, and take in a play - Wicked! And my word if Wicked wasn't just fabulous!! The story was captivating, and the flow and songs were great! I enjoy how much there is to see and do in London, and I find it such an inspirational city in regard to the art and culture. It is the one city, apart from Vancouver that I could envision living in - adventures around every corner. The hustle and bustle feels like just the right amount, and though many have said "Oh it's just because you're a tourist there", I think I may just leave my prairie roots and climb into England's greener pastures! | Watching birds fly around the Greenwich castle grounds after a lovely piece of Victorian Cream Cake |
