CARTOGRAPHER
A cartographer collects information about any sort of an area from world to city or building to create a map, chart, or infographic picture to help people to navigate and understand that space and even how it may be used.
Requirements 
 - People come into this field from many backgrounds and experiences.
 - People interested in geography, graphic design, engineering, and or information technology would have a greater inn into this industry.
 - There is still a niche market for people using old mapping skills and techniques by hand to create maps of things from countries to stars to neighborhoods, etc.

A Day in the Life
These are some of the things Cartographers do on a daily basis
  • Study of ground surveys, maps, photographs, reports, and layouts
  • Develop project components and or standards
  • Revise older maps and charts
  • Use various information systems
  • Analyze data from various sources
  • Creating new maps 
Things to help you achieve this career 
So you want to be a Cartographer! - Here are somethings you can do to help you achieve this career
  1. Take an online course in basic graphic design for free or watch graphic design tutorials on the internet.
  2. Create maps of; your room, your city, your neighborhood, your house, etc.
  3. Take further studies in math or geography.
  4. See if you can assist or shadow a surveyor for a day.
  5. Study old maps and charts.
  6. Go hiking and make a map.
  7. When you get a chance to travel - make a map! 
  8. Make a map of your favourite place!
